The Party Planner is a feature found in the Socialize tab that allows Sisters to organize a fabulous soiree for her and her friends. Sisters will need to collect paint brushes to help transform the venue to a beautiful setting, complete events to earn decorations, craft delicious goodies for appetizers, and invite their friends.
Paint Brushes and Decorations can be collected and earned through the events in the "Decor" tab or through Free Gift Requests. To see how many paint brushes you have collected and which decorations you have earned, or to use these, click on the "Venue" tab.
Appetizers can be crafted in the "Appetizers" tab. To craft a particular ingredient, you can either purchase the necessary items, or earn them from the "Decor" Tab, or collect them as a gift from your friends. To see which ingredient requires the necessary items, click on a pink "Start A New One!" button and select an Appetizer.
To dress up for your party, click on the "Dress Up" tab and try on all the glam. Once you have all the glam items on, click on the pink button "Dress Up For Party." You will see your mini dressed for the occasion when you click on the Venue tab.
Once you have fully planned for your soiree (used all of your paint brushes, added the decorations, and served the appetizers), click on the Venue tab to use all the items you have collected to throw your party.
If you ever want to go back and get more glam from the events you have mastered in the Decor Tab, be sure to have your mastered events showing.

I would like to know how to get the party dress? All the items I got them by socializing, but the dress never showed up, so what's the trick?
It won't let me serve the appetizers, i've donde all of them and they don't show up. Anyone know why?

I think you'll get it when you the Fiesta Caliente... Because I saw in the forum the dress is labeled as 'Finishing'.

You need 2 summer party platter.for one summer party platter craft you need to craft 2 quantity of every item. the summer party platter is the last one in Craft items.
You have to finish the whole event and when you are done it will reward you with the dress.
One added tip for anyone with the issue of having the decor tab jobs disappear from view, and you are left with only the option for the paintbrush purchase showing up, you can make all these events reappear by going back on campus to the socialize tab and click the "Show Mastered" option, it will then show the mastered events again in Summer Fun on your Decor tab. If you have hidden your mastered events on campus, once you finish the fourth decor task, they won't show again if you leave the tab and come back. You have to go back and click SHOW MASTERED.
To finish do you have to have all of the 45 sister slots filled? If so, anyone want to join my sorority? :)
I have over 100 paintbrushes in my swag, but still need 1 more purple, this is all I need to finished, its been this way for 3 days!!!
And, when my sisters try to accept the invitation to my venue, it says full, but it shows I have 40 out of 50!! Any tips??

Same as me.Check what you haven't done 1.all paintbrush used 2.decoration added 3. appetizers added 4.invited 50 sister .You have to finish all before go dress up.

Go to the normal Socializing tab and click the "Show Mastered" button.
It didn't work for me and I refuse to buy any items. Guess I won't be completing any of these events!!!

How do you get the glam? I got shoes & hair doing the Decor events but no dress and no bag so I can't "dress up". I tried trying everything on and clicking Dress Up but it doesn't work, it says I don't have any of the glam.

I can't figure out how to make the platters. I can make each of the ingredients but no option to make a platter? Am I missing something? help please.. :)
The option is there to make it. After you have two of each ingredient there is an arrow at the right to which slides over to he party platters

Go to the Socialize tab, between the "My Swag" and "Show Mastered"** should be a tab that says "Go Now" in white with a pink background. If it is not there, there may be something wrong with Sorority Life.
**your's may say "Hide Mastered", depending on how you've set it.

I had heard that if you keep it so your socializing events show "mastered" events, you should be able to continue to do the events to get the summer ingredients. I still have my decor events showing. Just go to your "socialize" tab and select "show mastered" .
I got the dress once my party was full and everything else was done.
I have all the appetizers, decorations, and used all paint brushes but when I click the "Dress for Occasion" nothing happens! How can I complete the event?

go to the socialize tabs and find the little button that says "show mastered" (near top right). Click it and it will change to "hide mastered". Now go back to Decor in the summer fun and the completed events should be there again. Hope that helped.

go into your reg. social events, and click show mastered. go back into the decor and your social events should be there.

Sucks that you need 50 sisters... This is a game I play independently of people I know and refuse to start adding random people just to complete tasks anymore. Guess I won't be playing much anymore

I am having the exact same problem. I have gone so far as to use a few brownie points to buy the veggie platter. I still need 2 icecream cones,no end in sight.lol
