You have to send/collect the item which is only available for that particular day, before the cookie resets (before 10 pm PST). there is another way to see if someone sent u the items that u have missing, to go through SL gifts the old way, through the Apps and Games List, and scroll trough to that day to see if U do have it.

I went through my gifts on the apps and game page and it shows that my sisters sent me the shoes but when i go to accept there are no post in my messages is there any other way to get them?

I got gifts for the luggage and the shoes but they didn't show up...now I can't get them anymore because they were 5 day gifting....UGH!!!!!!

I was supposed to get the shoes via requesting it and sending out gifts, which got sent, but I never got them. Stupid Sl messed up the gifting page...so no dress 4 me :(
Same thing happened to me. You can accept the shoes (it doesn't show up, but you got them) and then go claim the dress , since its still available.
